1. Educational and wellbeing purposes only

The information and services provided by Grateful Minds — including Ayurvedic lifestyle guidance, dosha self-assessment tools, mindfulness, meditation, yoga and breathwork sessions, workshops, our support around Ayurvedic clinics and retreats, written and online content, and any verbal or written communication — are for education and general wellbeing only.

Nothing we offer is intended to:

  • diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition;

  • replace medical advice or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional;

  • be interpreted as medical, psychological, psychiatric or nutritional therapy.

We are an educator and guide, not a clinical or medical practitioner. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe or cure. Ayurveda is a traditional system of wellbeing and is not regulated medicine in the UK or EU. Our work is complementary and sits alongside medical care, never as a replacement for it.

2. Your responsibility — please consult a professional

You should always consult your GP, physician or another qualified healthcare professional before:

  • making changes to your diet or lifestyle;

  • taking herbal supplements;

  • beginning Ayurvedic practices or a Panchakarma programme;

  • modifying any existing treatment or medication.

This is especially important if you:

  • are pregnant or breastfeeding;

  • have a diagnosed medical condition;

  • are undergoing treatment, including cancer treatment;

  • are taking prescription medication.

If you are in active medical treatment or experiencing a mental-health crisis, please seek appropriate professional support. Our services are not a substitute for that care.

3. Our role: an introducer, not a provider

When we help you access an Ayurvedic doctor, clinic, Panchakarma programme, retreat or other third-party service ("Third-Party Providers"):

  • We act as an introducer and provide our own guidance, preparation and support.

  • We are not a booking agent, travel agent or tour operator, and we do not sell or package travel, accommodation or treatment.

  • Your contract for all treatment, accommodation and clinic services is directly with the Third-Party Provider, on their terms. You book and pay them directly.

  • We do not deliver, supervise or control those services. We are not responsible for clinical care, treatment quality, outcomes, pricing, availability, scheduling, cancellations or the conduct of any provider.

  • Ayurvedic practitioners abroad may not be licensed medical professionals within UK or EU regulatory frameworks.

All medical decisions, consultations, prescriptions and treatments are made solely by the relevant practitioner or clinic.

4. Payments
  • Any fee you pay us is for our own facilitation and support service only — guidance, preparation, communication support, and integration support.

  • All treatment, accommodation and programme costs are paid directly to the Third-Party Provider.

  • We do not collect or process payment for clinic or treatment services, and we do not hold client money for those services.

5. Affiliate and referral relationships

We maintain professional relationships with selected Ayurvedic doctors, clinics, retreat centres, wellbeing providers and aligned lifestyle brands. In some cases we may receive a referral fee or commission when you choose to engage them.

  • This does not increase the price you pay. Where a clinic or partner pays us a referral fee, the price to you is the same as approaching them directly — unless we clearly state otherwise.

  • We only recommend providers and partners aligned with our values and experience.

  • You are under no obligation to use any provider or partner we suggest, and you are encouraged to do your own research and communicate with providers directly.

ZONIA. We are a partner of ZONIA, a platform offering selected wellbeing products and services. Where we share ZONIA links or recommendations, we may receive a commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. (Remove this paragraph if the ZONIA partnership is no longer active.)

6. No guarantees

We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, outcomes, or quality of any Third-Party Provider's services. Individual responses to wellbeing practices, herbs and treatments vary from person to person.

7. Assumption of risk

By engaging with any Grateful Minds service or content, you acknowledge that:

  • you do so voluntarily;

  • you take full responsibility for your own health decisions;

  • you understand that individual responses to practices or treatments may vary.

Grateful Minds is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on the information or guidance we provide.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law (including your statutory rights as a consumer). Subject to that, our liability is limited as set out in clause 13 of our Terms & Conditions, and all claims relating to treatment or accommodation must be directed to the relevant Third-Party Provider.

9. Governing law and contact

This disclaimer is governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: alena@grateful-minds.com.
